General Elections:

How to Vote: (Source:

• The green light on the Electronic Voting machine will be on at the time
of voting.

• Press the blue button in front of the name of the candidate for whom
you want to vote.

• On pressing the blue button a red light will appear and you will hear
“BEEP” sound. This “BEEP” sound will indicate that your
vote has been registered successfully.

Note - Don't have Voters ID:

If you don't have an Electors' Photo Identity Card (EPIC), or simply a Voter ID, you can still vote..

Voters have to carry an identity proof i.e., Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) issued by the Commission, OR any other documentary proof as prescribed by the Commission.

BUT a mere possession of a Voter ID card issued to you does not guarantee you your vote because it is mandatory that your name should appear in the electoral list/roll.
